Anti-chloroquine professionals design fatally flawed "trials" where zinc is not provided, or only the sickest of the sick get the drug while mildly ill represent the non-drug controls. Their work is conflicted and therefore not reliable.

Yes there are concerns about cardiac side-effects, given the virus can attack cardiac muscle cells this rare side-effect of the drug may be more of a problem with coronavirus patients. However, most trials showing this side-effect did so at very high doses and it is easy to therefore properly dose patients.

And BTW, unless you are a hard core cult kool-aid drinker, as opposed to a rational, objective seeker of the truth, "fact-checking" sites that align with one side of the ideological spectrum 95% of the time are biased and not to be trusted.

The purpose of the FDA warning is to make sure usage is administered by a health professional during the normal course of treatment or as part of a clinical trial, as opposed to play-doctor-at-home use, because the drug has to be dosed properly.

Why is this? Because Chinavirus attacks cardiac muscle cells in some patients, and high doses create heart problems. High doses of any drug usually create problems. Clinical trials establish dosing ranges wrpt BMI, and doctors are then required to dose properly based on those guidelines. With hydroxychloroquine, the initial trials have established the safety range specifically for Chinavirus patients and the FDA warning is meant to make sure dosing is done by health professionals.

The fact remains that doctors all over the world are using it, and the death rate turned out to be far less than the liberal academics projected with their global-warming like models so you tell me if it works or not.
