If you don't want to call what he did lies, that's fine. The President of the US cannot publicly and very loudly repeatedly and intentionally grossly minimize and hope the virus away. BTW, saying it was basically just the flu was yet another lie (or again, use whatever term suits you).
You have to use hysterical terminology to try to make a point. And, again, information available along with past experiences drove the decisions that one does which will have the greatest effect on the most people in the most positive manner. You haven't come up with another solution ("that's not my job"), but you sure know this isn't the right one.
C'mon, man. Don't let hate win.

Makes no sense to go on CNN and watch them twist everything around. They don't even hide their intention.

That's just not right, and not even in the ballpark of right. Most of your fellow Trump fans wouldn't even agree with you here.
He's a control freak and loves to hear himself talk. That puts him line with about 30% of the people I know. I look for the message, not the optics. I don't care about who's giving it. I don't care if his skin is orange, or he's overweight, or if he slept with a porn star. I look for the message, because I know they were given with the best intentions. To give hope. Heck...we had someone quite recently run an entire campaign on just "hope" and "change".
Some are glass-half full people; some are glass-half empty. Your decision on how you want to go through life. I'll practice the "hope for the best, plan for the worst" approach. You should too. The "I hate the past and hate the future" approach just gonna' wear you down.
