Do you have any idea how little recruiting actually gets done in the fall? College coaches get their teams on or around August 1st. From that point on it's full days to prepare for the season which starts later that month. From August to September, its a weekday match and a weekend match as well as 4 to 5 days of training, film, weight room etc. Calls and phone calls with recruits and perhaps some campus visits but very little in the way of attending showcases etc. There simply isn't time.
GDA offers better training in the fall but if you are chasing it for recruiting, you are sorely mistaken.

No way. US Soccer will probably look to not support it and continue to lose money. MLS teams will run their own league with boys as that has helped but on the girls side the ECNL model has proven to work.

DA is done and dusted. Good night. What a waste it was on the girls side. It helped on the boys side but the MLS teams will run their own Academy’s and not have to waste time and money on the clubs not worthy of playing. As always it comes down to money and the DA was just run ***** backward. I feel bad for all the young kids that thought they were getting something and then everything pulled.

Us soccer doesn’t want to continue to lose money and they can just drop the girls DA because of obvious reasons so they will drop both.

And they have to do it now as teams are making rosters for 2020/2021. They will play this Spring season then be done, makes sense if they aren't going forward. It is expensive for US soccer, and it is not the right strategy as they are only looking for the unicorns/1% so don't need to underwrite an entire national league. It is a waste resources for them. But what to do I know
