The CBO has given their estimates for raising it to different levels, which is why Biden wants to do it incrementally

A $10 minimum—According to the CBO's projections, the $10 minimum wage would raise earnings for up to 3.5 million workers and "have virtually no effect on employment." Nor would it have an appreciable impact on the number of people in poverty.1

A $12 minimum—The $12 minimum wage would benefit up to 11 million workers while reducing overall employment by an estimated 300,000 jobs. The number of people whose annual incomes fell below the poverty threshold in 2025 would be reduced by 400,000.

A $15 minimum—Finally, the $15 minimum wage would benefit up to 27 million workers but cost an estimated 1.3 million jobs. At the same time, a similar number of people (1.3 million) would see their annual incomes rise above the poverty threshold.18 https://www.investopedia.com/article...employment.asp
Totally agree it needs to happen but should happen over time. Raise it $10 now, 12 in 2 years, 15 in 4-5.

Oh pretty please Title Con, tell us what is going on? Make sure to list your credentials as an economist and labor market expert with your predictions.

Dopey,

Tom Cotton just sponsored a Bill to raise minimum wage to $10 over time. His home state already has a minimum wage of $11.

This is deeply unserious and shows the cons are just posturing. Ya gonna have to clean that up before I have the time to talk to you about what Biden is doing. Especially since elections have consequences and Biden has the WH and his party has the house and senate

Got that? So just go back to griping, whining and belly aching for years back bencher.

yes but what are you doing with a puppet potus like biden? what are you doing with a dem controlled senate and house? still going after TRUMP? Ted Cruiz? over 100000 dead from covid under bidens 1st month (and we have a vaccine thanks to TRUMP)

Just a few days ago savior biden pledges a total of $4 billion dollars to WHO for covid vaccines (didn't libbys say we dont have enough vaccines for all americans and thats also TRUMPS fault?) Thanks for putting america last.

FYI, TRUMP never hit 100000 dead in a month. great job the biden admin is doing. hey man, you voted for him, you own it.

It's called compromise con. I know it's a dirty word with the GOP now, but it used to be how government functioned back in the day. Give a little, get a little.

Hey TC - I know this may seem a foreign concept to you and your fellow cons but it is possible to help Americans AND other people AT THE SAME TIME. Wow! Biden's team has contracts from all the manufacturers to get everyone in America vaccinated (if they want it), production, distribution and vaccinations go up each week. America will be just fine and we can afford it. Many pooor nations don't have the funding for vaccine acquisition and distribution (especially with the cold storage requirements. Wealthy experts estimate it could be up to two years before the rest of the world catches up to the US and other wealthy nations.
