With DA and ECNL, Bolts will continue to attract talent. It is what it is. They will send you bills up the wazoo for infrequent and mediocre training but your child will play in college. If your kid isn't on DA or ECNL then it's McD's level soccer anyway.

The Bolts are rife with arrogance and the people that run the program are mean to the core. None of them should be around children.

Most of the larger clubs have cancellations and no-shows for the lower ladder teams. But the Bolts put all their energy and money into the DAP which has been very successful.

Otherwise, the Bolts are a bit of a joke.

Our family’s experiences with the Bolts were not positive. Mediocre coaching, lots of politics, canceled training, and arrogance at the top. There are many better choices.

Not mutually exclusively experiences. Bolts place 25 boys a year despite mediocre and often cancelled training.

My son has been playing with the Bolts for about a year now and we have been very happy but I think it’s because the coach is fantastic. I’m not sure about other regions.

If your son has the talent and the internal drive he’ll get to teams that don’t cancel practice and place players in college soccer.

If you think paying the fee then skipping events to go skiing in the winter is acceptable you’ll never get anywhere but Killington.

Why do trainings get cancelled? I can count on one hand the practices that have been canceled over several years for anything other than weather.

Yeah, they got him $ that despite his1550 on his sat and 3.97 GPA. We weren't sure he would get in anywhere but Bolts worked diligently to get him the $20,000 regents scholarship at Lasell. He can now live at home and college will only cost him $25 grand per year! He has worked so hard and the soccer really paid off in the long run. We are so proud and thankful.
