Hahaha. Never mind that the teams in the NW are mediocre but let’s keep calling it top tier.

Oh and the fun memories with their team doesn’t really make sense seeing as CU loses all their players to other clubs the Moment they don’t need to be there.

Skeleton crew isn’t it? It’s so funny how it becomes more about the memories and stuff when you can’t lie to people about wins.

CU hasn't lost any players to other clubs so where do you get "all" as you say above.

What league is the top league in Washington?

Everything is mediocre to some people. It is the Timbers drumbeat for why you should stick with OYSA or why you should only play for the Timbers DA. Some anonymous random on the internet says so!

ECNL, of course. Then RCL1, which is about 3 levels above OYSA Premier.

                Boys DA > BECNL > RCL1 > RCL2 > PSPL1 = OYSA
                Girls ECNL > GDA > RCL1 > RCL2 > PSPL1 = OYSA

Don't know about the girls, but OYSA boys teams are dominating the RSL teams in NWNL.

                    RCL, not RSL.

Any U.S state's best club team> anything Oregon Club travel charade offers.

                      Dilution is Oregon's solution.

                      Pay on, Pay on...

I've looked at the teams that the boys played in the NWNL (and the regional games) and surprised at the quality of teams. Most teams they played against are the club's 3rd team and average between 300-500 ranked nationally. Also gives the Oregon team an artificial ranking. Oregon soccer is not even remotely close competitively to any big metropolitan's best teams (enter any state here).

SU and WPFC sent B teams, their A teams compete in BECNL. Don't know where you get the idea that these are C teams. WA Rush and the Idaho clubs all sent A teams.

(A word to the wise: many "national rankings" sites, particularly youthsoccerrankings.us, work in large part by scraping tournament and league websites. If a team registers under a slightly different name in two different leagues, it may appear to be two different teams in the "rankings").

California has clubs whose C teams can wipe the floor with anything in OYSA. Seattle does not--the top four clubs' A teams (Crossfire, SU, PacNW, WPFC), all of which are in BECNL, generally can beat any Oregon teams, but most OYSA teams teams can compete with the B teams of these four clubs, and the A teams of any other Washington club.

SU team is considered the #3 team. I know this from experience. But I agree with you on California. Unfortunately this not the norm, that the quality of soccer is much better not only in California, but you can add Chicago, Georgia, Texas, to that list amongst others. And also agree that Washington isn't much better either outside of our ECNL teams.

NWNL is optional. Mostly populated by teams who have DOCs and coaches who like IG. It has National in the name so people think it is important. Photo shoot for recruiting
