There is not much for women's soccer after college.
Use the game to help pay or getting into college.
Not sure why this would be difficult to understand.
Soccer is still a game. It is not a career. Why would you want to give up your high school experience for a game? It is not just missing HS soccer it is a bunch of other things you will miss out to dedicate yourself to the DA schedule.
Appreciated...

There are many different paths.
You are the customer and it’s your choice although other soccer people will tell you otherwise.
Soccer is a game and and it can be fun. It is not an investment into college or a career although it might be a side benefit for a few. It is like buying a scratch it ticket and there is a disclaimer telling you it is for entertainment purposes and not an investment.
If the you

The DA path is too exclusive, my kid is not one of the 10 best players in their birth year. Not an option.
Local Club soccer is available to everyone, would never think of spending 10K or more to travel and play, especially with so much parity locally. All the clubs are virtually the same and cost a fortune. Not an option.
Like to watch the kid play at a recreational level and they rep their HS. Local games close to home onworknights no driving to practice which is awesome and the HS coaching is better than the clubs in most cases.
All HS in the fall! enjoy school maybe some friends get together in the off season play a little futsal or indoor.
As long as title ix funds this sport at an unreal level for only girls it's a win-win.
Loving it.

My opinion is they need to change to be successful.

Jesuit should win, but could get upset by West Linn or Clackamas. That is the only hope of upsetting the U of J team.

Mountainside has a 1 decent local club player and
since nearly all of HS is rec soccer, POY has to go to someone..kudos
Jesuit has a an entire team of local clubs players and has the added punch of a DA level player.
Couldnt name their (jesuit) entire team POY, but probably should have.

If having DA is the standard for quality then Clackamas would be the runaway favorite. They have 3 or 4 of them. I don’t even think the former DA players are the best 3 on the Clackamas team
