Brooks having a down year or just a bad game? That is two losses for them already, no?

Good weekend for Rivers. On Friday they beat Govs 1-0 and on Sunday they beat Tabor 2-0. Govs had the opposite weekend, losing on Friday and then losing yesterday to Milton 2-1.

Just bringing a little "institutional knowledge" forward. No one really keeps track of this stuff and it is hard to piece together as you can tell by how spotty this information gets the further out you get. If anyone has the ability to clean up this list please help the cause.

Prep Top 10 WO 10-1
1 (4) Choate Rosemary Hall Wallingford, CT 4-0-1
Choate's 2-0 win over Loomis last week, coupled with ties and losses by previous Top 3 schools allows this program to inherit the No. 1 ranking. That makes three different No. 1 teams over the past three weeks.
2 (2) Hotchkiss School Lakeville, CT 4-0-1
Hotchkiss was held to a scoreless draw by unranked Williston last week. Hotchkiss has yet to allow a goal.
3 (6) Rivers School Weston, MA 4-0-1
Shutout wins over Governor's Academy and Tabor helps Rivers jump up in this week's rankings.
4 Wilbraham & Monson Wilbraham, MA 5-0-1
Wilbraham's undefeated start, which included wins last week over former Top 10-ranked Tabor and Williston earns this school the No. 4 ranking.
5 (7) Phillips Andover Andover, MA 4-0-2
Phillips Andover edged Pingree and Tabor Academy both by 1-0 margin last week.
6 (5) Governor's Academy Byfield, MA 3-1-0
Governor's 1-0 setback to Rivers altered the order of these perennial NEPSAC title contenders.
7 Groton School Groton, MA 4-1-0
Groton earned a ranking this week with a 7-1 thrashing of former Top 10-ranked Brooks School.
8 (1) Noble and Greenough Dedham, MA 4-1-0
Nobles was upset by St. George's last week, costing this team the top ranking.
9 (3) Loomis Chaffee Windsor, CT 2-2-1
The record might be underwhelming, but consider the team's losses are to No. 1 Choate and No. 8 Nobles, and its tie is against Phillips Andover. Loomis has the rest of the season to prove if the lower part of the Top 10 ranking is fitting.
10 (8) Brewster Academy Wolfeboro, NH 5-0-0
The luster of a big win over Brooks has since proven to be not so compelling as Brooks is sitting at 2-2-1 with a 7-1 loss to Groton last week. Still, Brewster remains perfect on the season and deserving to Top 10 consideration for the time being.

Govs got beat by Milton 2-1 on Sunday. Seems like they are treating it like a scrimmage but it wasn't
