To participate in the GDA showcases you must be on a weston or Boca United team. Not too complicated , if you live near Boca and ur kid is good u play there, if u live near Weston u try for Weston
Fort Myers = no GDA 🙁

Nope. Not true about the B licenses or GDA curriculum. Just because it is a GDA club does not mean they are following US Soccer rules as intended. Research hard before joining. Boca United is an excellent example. Lots of finagling to cover coach licenses and the appearance that the training is structured. Buyer beware.

Bottom line...players dont joing a GDA for training/development... players join GDA for Exposure.. if your kid is not developed by 15, you have bigger worries

EXACTLY RIGHT. You can find good/great players and good/great coaches at every level. The only thing ECNL and GDA can offer is exposure to the players.

Put down the crackpipe. You are saying if a player is fully developed by Freshman year, you have worries? How many kids are at full potential Freshman year?

Everyone but you know what he/she means, if a kid can’t play by 13 , no coach will develop her into a Star...

Development happens at the u8 to u12 ish ages , then they either have it or not

You can take a group of kids that have it and work on tactics and refining skills

Yes we are all on crack and meth, but u think u can take a 13 year old who sucks and make her a star , oooooo kkkkkk, keep selling that to gullible parents. it’s soccer not football or baseball , it’s hard to be good

U obviously don’t know much about real soccer

From all of FC America and Orlando City we warn you to stay away from this man. He is the one starting all this threads about Boca, Sunrise, and Weston to run through his yearly smear campaign. He's gone on record telling parents at OCYS that he's constantly on here. Slowly the truth will come out about Alan Hough but not before he cons many families out of money. Alan is the biggest problem with youth soccer, a money hungry con artist. You've been warned.
This is spot on. Alan curses at his players. He is a terrible person.
