That's right. We left those teams in Salem, Eugene, Eastside and Vancouver because their players weren't serious about their soccer careers. Our girls were sacrificing and doing whatever it takes to get to the next level. While the rest of the team was skipping practice for basketball, family trips, whatever nonsense they manufactured to have an excuse not to work hard. We got sick of wasting our time and money and our girl got sick of wasting her talent and energy on a team with no future. No apologies and no regrets. And now we get to go back and punish those slackers? Sounds pretty good to me. I hope every time we score on them they realize it's a direct result of my kid working harder than theirs was ever willing to.
