"When you look at our player production history, our coaching, leadership and facilities, we believe we have a compelling case for admission."
All their effort apparently went into their "compelling case for admission" into GDA. If only they had devoted equal time thinking about a compelling case for girls to sign up, they would have realized they don't have one.
"Locally the WNY Flash have just been accepted into the ENCL. It will be interesting to see if they decide to move forward with it. A betting man would put his money on US Soccer winning this battle and making the Girls Development Academy the top level of girls soccer in the United States."
A smart betting man would put his money on Empire United's cross-town ECNL rivals. That's where most of the talent will go next year, you heard it here first.
Seems like United Soccer Alliance (Jacksonville) got it right in splitting the difference. How many clubs will push ECNL while still sending their DA applications? Lol
