Fantastic! That will give them a chance to score.

I have zero soccer playing experience but feel after many years of watching my kids play I could teach a group to pass it around the back line and charge up the sideline. Liken soccer to Bball and you can appreciate possession with no purpose is a joke. I have kids at CU and this year with the attacking style is much better. Wining doesn't get old.

FYI CU's 6 teams have scored 173 Goals this year in conference play. They have a goal differential of +74 as a Club. This is with an 00 group who had a negative goal differential of -36 and 9 goals for the season.
      This true?

Let's talk about overselling. This is on the Thorn's Academy website and is in print:

"Current Thorns FC midfielder Tobin Heath will continue her role as assistant technical director, while first-team coaches and players again will assist at training on a regular basis."

Can anyone from the Thorns Academy confirm this is happening?

Both CU & FC P have confirmed she (Heath) is not workig with their local neighborhood clubs and will continue in her technical role with the NWSL Portland Thorns, DA. Appreciate the emails from both local clubs confirming this, as such we opted, after being chosen of course for the DA Thorns it's all about the staffing.

Prior to the Rapture of top clubs to the DA, our local clubs were lucky hold an opponent to under 5 goals per match. Now that the better teams vacated the US Club league for the DA, unsurprisingly our local neighborhood clubs were left holding it together while competing with similar ilk in said league. What a development.

Thorns pays first teamers $20/hour to do futsal and other Training with academy. It’s a win win. The academy families get something to brag about at the water cooler and the first teamers make extra money to use for luxuries like food and housing.

No one is bragging, but the Thorns are advertising:

"Current Thorns FC midfielder Tobin Heath will continue her role as assistant technical director, while first-team coaches and players again will assist at training on a regular basis."

I am just trying to get to the truth and find out if the first team coaches and players assist at training on a regular basis.

You've come to the right place for the "truth". "Truth" is there's not one coach or DoC that will give you 100% truthfulness. It's not in their best interests to tell you your kid sucks, or we "hope" to get Tobin out, or the ultimate costs of this program will have you wondering why you didn't just go buy a used car. The good ones are 90/10 but they are far and few between. The ones that I find to be the least truthful are the ones that instantly bash other coaches, programs and players not within their clubs. If they openly sink this low, you'll find they are worse in private. I hope this helped you get closer to the "truth".

You have to pay people. You can't expect them to just do it for free.

Why not? Thorns academy players get to travel for free, as their parents are fond of touting on this chat board.
