EDP - New England - What does this mean for soccer in MA?

What does this mean for NEP? Will clubs slowly move away from NEP like they did from MAPLE? It seems to me like a better system than NEP, with smaller barriers to entry. What are you're thoughts?

CT poster. One of my kids has been EDP for awhile. The biggest pro is promotion and relegation based on performance. The top two brackets of competition are very good, certainly better than whoever is left in CT that doesn't play in NPL/ECNL/DA. It's great for smaller clubs or a club that might have just a few teams that want it (don't have to have all age groups). They run decent tournaments too. Biggest negative is travel, but as I said there is no one left in the state worth playing so topping off the Easy Pass is 2nd nature.
