There are plenty of in-state clubs to play for if that's what your player wants. Some players want more. The tricky part is figuring out if a player SHOULD be playing on a regional team and if that team is worth playing on. Good news is you can try something for a year and leave if it isn't working. One of my dropped back to state level because she hated having no life (a game out on LI at the wrong time can consume virtually and an entire day), the other kept going.
