How do you determine what type of college soccer programs is the right fit? I have an 02 daughter and we are just starting to explore all this. She doesn't play ECNL but is a starter on her club team ( top division). Does not aspire to play for a top tier D1 program and would like to get some actual playing time. Academics is a priority.

You go through the inexact science of bench marking your daughter against first other players in her age group and then against players that have committed to determine a possible level. This is where having multiple eyes (ODP, Camps etc) evaluating your daughter is invaluable because the more inputs you have the more objective you will end up being. As a start here is a link to a calculator that was posted here years ago that many have found to be fairly accurate.
