As long as it has air conditioning it's ok. If it does not then trust me from experience yo don't want to drive that to California and try to play soccer.

You wish. I was just hoping for cake or a dang scoop of ice cream. Is that too much to ask for?

Depends. If the van has vinyl seats from the 80's then A/C is critical.

We understand our place in the pecking order.
Even when your kid can compete regionally/nationally, you just very well may find GDA isnt a good fit. Hang in there!

Of course, both pine riders on "B" teams. Nothing to see here.

Ask about Victor Garcette and bus rides to California...

Oh, it's cracked, just not in favor of GDA.

So are you claiming they are going to ECNL? It seems like it would be a letdown to leave and go to teams ranked 116th and 200ish and toward the very bottom of ECNL.

These players will raise the level. The parents are realizing that a few tournaments won't draw the same college scouts as ECNL and DA. The coaching and costs will be almost the same level as what they have done so why wouldn't they go as the girls want to play in college and it seems the coach isn't as connected as he says.

So if one goes who gets booted off Crossfire? GPS bench is deep.

A few of the top players are considering GDA because it is cheaper and is the path to the national team and pros. GPS coach saying he has connections to national teams, but turns out he doesn't and these top players are not believing all the hype

This is the time of year when those who can't develop try to recruit. If Gps girls go to ECNL or GDA, those programs will benefit by adding quality players. It would be sad to see girls leave that have worked for years to get where they are now. But such is the world of girls soccer. True, some leave for other sports, some leave for "greener" pastures. The greenest pastures are the ones full of manure. I don't see the Gps girls leaving, with perhaps an exception or two. How many times does your daughter need to be seen by scouts to show that she is good? And are you sure those scouts will be at any of her games? I didn't see scouts lining the field for the CU vs FC match and I don't anticipate it at Thorns GDA matches either.
