Some girls leave because they don't want to make the commitment she requires. It isn't a judgement on the quality of the training or the program, but a choice that they want a different experience for high school than than the intensity LL requires. Makes sense. Her teams are a place for girls who are uber dedicated to their sport, and if that isn't your girl than that's fine. And for the juggling post--if it needs to be explained than you just don't get it. It has nothing to do with the juggles. My 12 year old gets it. It's not that tough.

Not that many and that says all that really needs to be said about her program.
It's a result of early age soccer burnout. Mentally and physically.

Not affiliated with SSS but SSS has great teams. Be jealous or post your dislike all you want but those kids can play.

How does a supposedly great program lay such a goose egg in the USYSA State Cup against the bottom of the barrel Mom & Pop clubs that now make up MAPLE? Take a step back for a moment and think about how colossal a failure that was and what it really says about the supposed quality of the SSS training. You were competing against town level programs and coaches and could only win 1 state cup. That's embarrassing.

12s didn't compete. 13s lost in OT. 14s won. 15s floundered. only 3 teams competing is different than a mega club only winning 1. And ps.if three teams trying to get to nationals, 2 succeeded. Not a failure by any measure.

Don't they have teams in every age group? Are you only counting the ones that made it to the final weekend?

You forgot about the 17's. They lost to that juggernaut that is Nova.

12's played up at u13 made it to semis and forfeited because they weren't going to travel to Regionals, 15's lost by 1 in finals after winning three round robin games 7-0 each.

13s lost to fcusa. Nep club now. If fcusa and Valeo compete in nep. Then maple clearly on par with nep.

I'm sure it's just tattletales sharing the info, similar to Abbie Lee Miller & Dance Moms.
                            There's not much difference.

My favorite is how they collect $100 per player for each tournament. That's 18 players at $100 a piece- $1800. Most tournaments cost $700-900 to play.

Nailed it. That is their biggest money maker. All tournaments are not included in the yearly $2000+ fee. The money is not going into the falling apart sports center. Where is it going?
