It’s quite the opposite. You are obviously listening to a biased media. Try talking to business owners both large and small. They will tell you that they are feeling the positive impacts of an improved economy and consumer sentiment. That doesn’t make Trump a good human being but it does say that much of what he has put into place is having a positive impact. Reduced crazy regulations in many industries are putting capital to work in more productive ways. No one has take away rights from any minority groups (I’m a minority by the way). Stop watching CNN or Fox and just ask those that hire people and help raise our standard of living if things aren’t better. If you don’t like it, your side better find someone with better ideas. Right now it’s just a constant whine about a porn star and what kind of First Lady had on a state dinner menu.

I doubt you attended a real business school. If you had, you would recall that one of the hidden devils in regulation is that regulated industries ask for certain types of regulation. Established players love regulation that reduces competition, think telecom, construction, energy. Simple minds like the argument that all regulations is bad for business. The reality is that they love the regulation that keeps competition low. Regulation can be good for competition, it just needs to be done in a ethical and balanced fashion by independent parties. What we have is closer to socialism than most people understand. thunk about the medical world. There is very little left of a market economy there, that is why we are paying four times as much as other developed countries for the same or worse care.

Your comment about interest rates just shows that you are anti partisan and not objective.

Trade pacts always need to be tweaked and improved, how do you know this team is competent? You just trust them right? You certainly don't have any actual knowledge of these trade agreements, some of the most dynamic and complicated agreements ever constructed. Not the guy you are responding to. I get your points and I think Obama was bad for business and created an anti-business environment. I agree. However, as another member of the "business class," even though trump will put more jingle in my pocket, I feel he has lowered the office of the president to levels that are to me completely unacceptable. the "twitter" president is unacceptable to me. if POTUS is not acting like an adult, what hope do we have for the rest of society? POTUS spending his morning taking twitter shots at his enemies is a deal breaker. I am someone who thinks HOW you accomplish your goals is as important as the accomplishment. Process matters.
