Partnering with Boca United right now is like betting on the Dolphins to win the Super Bowl next year. You would be throwing your cash out the window. Any DOC who would do that is a moron and should be fired. Cased closed. This isn't happening.

It’s so funny that the same Boca United mommy comes on here every time that Boca United gets bashed and says that post was by BD himself. That’s hysterical. Then you bash BD and call him names and then you say that he should come off is high horse and give it a shot and partner with BU. Now you want him helping your club? You can’t have it both ways. You are hysterical. And if you think there isn’t a merger because Eric didn’t want to partner with BD or Team Boca you really are disillusional. Eric would cut is leg off to partner with BD and TB because it’s not only the last move remaining for Boca United to stay afloat but he also might just learn something. Team Boca will never partner with Boca United ever. They are a joke club and they are going down very soon that’s obvious.

This guy sees the light. Every time a club takes on ECNL or now DA they can’t make it work and their club gets in trouble. Look at Weston and Boca United. They were both doing well before they got ECNL, well especially Weston. Once they took on ECNL and got killed and couldn’t compete their clubs fell apart. Even Weston went from a contending club in state cup to abysmal. Once they got ECNL they got bashed relentlessly on here along with Boca United for not competing. Boca United went from almost every age having two teams deep to now not even having one team in every girls age since the year they went ECNL. That can’t be coincidence. They have the same DOC, same facilities, and mostly same staff. So this guy above (or lady) is making a very valid point. It’s easy to say that every bigger comptetive club should go and get ECNL or DA but so far the two that have went way backwards as a club presence once they did and one of them Boca United seems to be on the verge of not having any girls teams at all!

There are already too many good teams that divide up the talent pool. Boca United losing DA will be a good start to getting things somewhat normal. They have been outscored 71 goals to 6 over only 11 games!! They aren't even half way through their season yet. Do you understand how pathetic that is? The other ages aren't much better. This is seriously on the verge of child abuse to let your daughter play there. What is wrong with you SFFA parents? This is sick. They have a goal differential of 55 goals over 11 games or 5 goal per game average differential!! Can these parents actually think that this is good for their daughters? Im sorry but if this is an indication of how a south Florida club competes in DA then I completely agree there shouldn't be a DA here. Is there any minimum requirements or standards to being a DA? Why do the other teams in the league allow a club in like this when it looks like teams are paying traveling costs from Georgia to Boca United and winning by double digits. They can’t be happy about that. How can US soccer do that to them?

Nobody cares about winning-the goal is to get better and be competitive. GDA in Boca will pick up some good players next year as some people do not want to sit on ECNL. Weston GDA needs a new identity because they lost their core. Are you out of your fricken mind? There is no possible way that Boca will pick up good players next year. You have to be mentally ill to send your daughter if she’s good to Boca United after the results they have this year. US soccer would also have to be crazy to keep a DA at Boca United after their results this year. This comment is exactly the problem. Parents will now send their below average daughters to the Boca DA because they know the teams are so weak that their B level daughter might be able to play at a DA and that’s what keeps these weak DA or ECNL programs alive. US Soccer is the real problem if they keep alive a DA like Boca’s.

Why do so many parents feel that its good to have their kids play on teams that get humiliated by 5-0 every game? Do you really think thats good for their development or that they look good in front of college coaches? There are way too many so-called "top leagues" in our area. Boca United is the worst example of being a club out of place in a so called top league like the DA. Those players at Boca United-SFFA DA are getting destroyed and humiliated every game and the worst part is that they are now going to pay all that money to next go to the DA Colorado Showcase and most every family is throwing that money right out the window because their kids will either be embarrassed there or they will be playing in front of D1 college coaches who have no interest in them because they are not even close to D1 level. Its pathetic that US Soccer has DA clubs like we have in S Fl. These clubs get their kids to give up high school soccer, leave the clubs they should be at, and then play at a DA that gets them nowhere because they are not DA level material in the first place.
