        "Lot of money here folks,"

        Another clueless fool.

You have no idea of the operational costs of running big clubs. Maybe Space Coast isn't big but the rest of those are.

I bet you've never volunteered to help. Just posts BS on anonymous boards without doing some proper research.

        Pathetic.

Maybe that person does not but I do! "True per player costs runs between $ 150.00 - $175.00 in great South Florida. Do not include fields, coaches pay, uniforms, training gear, field equipment, tournament expenses, etc. Website pays for itself. Most is not ALL coaches are "1099" CONTRACT LABOR FOR HIRE!!!!

When a club charges $ 1500-2500 per year, and then I hear from ALL Clubs that "your kid needs private training" I laugh. So what do the coaches coach during the season? They baby sit for 1.5-2.00 hours ( 3 days a week )?

South Florida club owners have ego's to feed, pockets to fill, and they could care less about parents money and budgets. You are kidding yourself if you think they do. The clubs do not pay the good coaches $ 1500-2000 per month, they pocket the money, pay the Directors, re-direct the money and keep the parents drinking the juice. South Florida is years behind Texas and California in development. In those states coaches get paid, but they coach and they teach and they do it well.

So "True Operational costs" are minimal since the fees cover most expenses in the contract/agreement.

Agreed. Go volunteer, sit on the board or attend the meetings. You will see that operational costs are large for these clubs and while at some (looking at you TBU) there might be high salaries at the admin level, most of the time it is a labor of love with the work being done for pennies an hour.

Where did they say anything other than "Lots of money" meant the clubs are not using it properly?

All clubs have to file as non-profit to see their taxes. GPS and FKK are private

I moved here from up north - there almost all clubs are private. Sure you get tax breaks as a non profit but you to file tons of paperwork (and pay an accountant to do it all) but more importantly much of your finances are online. To many club owners the privacy is worth more than the tax break.

That's not Boca United. That is Team Boca.
                      Just an FYI.
