It is sarcasm to point out the childish nature of the poster that started in with the stupid post attacking gay people.

Who attacked? Poster merely pointed out what is known to be true.
The Valley has its culture, merely calling it out is not attacking. Unless of course you carry so much self-hatred that being called what you are is considered an attack

Lovely campus. Pretty good academics. Financial aid can be generous. Cousin's kid was able to negotiate a better deal. (both her parents are teachers and she had a good offer from another god school.)
Cut the gay bashing, a**hole. Not funny and you just sound ignorant.

“Good” is a relative term when talking about D3 soccer conferences. NEWMAC is not in that category.

Other than NESCAC, which conference is better in New England?

Do not say UAA as it is not a NE league as it only has one NE team.

Referring to yourself as "calling out" already betrays you as ridiculous at best and very misogynistic at worst. Do you call on t every school for their sexuality profile?was your calling out derogatory? What you got back was well-earned.

Little East just slightly worse and NEWMAC and NEWMAC is a huge drop off from NESCAC. Only MIT is competitive year after year (Springfield and WPI mostly up but often mediocre).

So, you agree the conference is the second best in New England.

Although Wheaton has slumped in recent years it can be very competitive. Babson can be strong and WPI has been decent recently.

In response to the OP. The soccer is poor; if soccer is a priority and your daughter is a strong player, this might not be a good fit for her. The school is strong academically but very small, somewhat isolated (although well served by regional bus system) and the culture and student population is definitely unique. if it's a serious consideration, make sure that your daughter spends some time on campus to get a sense of the campus vibe. Admissions office offers overnight stays, as do most schools. Would recommend doing this in addition to any visit with the team. My daughter considered it and decided a more traditional SLA school was a better fit. She did love the campus though. Also agree with other poster that the school is more generous than others with financial offers.

Mount Holyoke is the perfect example of what D3 soccer is really about. It should be applauded for essentially being true to the D3 mission instead of criticized for being a poor soccer program or worse, slandered because it is a single gender school that attracts some students with a preference for that gender.

That word. I don't think it means what you think it means

Disagree with most of this statement. MHC is lowest level D3, and athletics at MHC are decidedly an after-thought (except for the riding program). Hardly a "perfect example" of D3 soccer or it's mission. I was one of a few who said soccer quality at MHC is poor. Didn't mean it as a criticism; just a factual statement. For someone who wants excellent academics, is comfortable with the school setting and student population (all female and yes, a higher than average % lesbian), and who just wants to continue playing (and maybe take up horseback riding!), it's a great choice. But if the student is prioritizing higher level soccer in her search, MHC might not be the best option. No slander intended.

Wheaton is in a very big slump and will not get out of the gutter until they get rid of the current coach.

Not threatened at all. Just calling it out for what it is. Land of the misfit toys. As for Trump, go scream at the sky. You are going to have him for another 5 years.

Do you call out all schools, or just ones you find offensive? And if you're not doing everything in your power to make sure Trump isn't around for another 5 years then you aren't an American. Did you notice how happy Putin is with his pick? And he continues with the nice touches, slamming 16 year olds and trolling dead folks. Just what the founders intended, I'm sure.

Isn't he still cleaning up the mess that he inherited?
