The Revs are not going to offer a U14 team next year? Will they split the U16/U17 team into separate teams?

Revs Academy IS making changes, like a true pathway to pro. They signed a U19 player to the Revolution II. Way to go!!!

Where is ZH at this point? He should serve as the cautionary tale for all those considering the nonsensical “pathway to pro” propaganda being slung by the Revs and/or myopic know-nothing parents.

I hope the kid finds a decent job someday.

All depends on what USSF does with those age groups. Or, MLS could announce they're leaving DA but I think that's still another year or two away

With USL2 etc in a few there are going to be so many ex-professional players/youth soccer coaches GPS won't need to import cheap labor from the UK.

Yeah, USL will start making local turds instead of importing them.

The Revs agreed to pay for an online SNHU degree for their latest Revolution II signing from the Academy.

Lol...however, that said it is one way to entice more players into going pro first rather than college. If clubs dangled a $100K+ bonus if you last so many years then a good part of a post-career education is covered.

USL is going to become the equivalent of MLB farm teams.

It already is, but no one cares because the mlb farm players make more than the mls top 1/3

Where are all the haters now? No wonder that college commitment guy quit, this class ruins the narrative. The New England Revolution Academy class of 2020 has players going to the #2 school in the country, the #6 school(NCAA Final Four) and the #24 school(National Champion). Screw the Bolts, GPS, NEFC and whichever other alphabet soup irrelevant club you schill for!!!

Revs are college placement kings and this is only the beginning.

All the haters are sad and tired. Nothing is ever going to change, the best players in the region are playing outside of the region and Academy coaching continues to be lazy and subpar. (Subpar could almost be forgiven, it’s the lazy that makes me the most angry).

When you post the Revs college commits, why don’t you post the number of years these players have actually played for the Revs. That is the more telling stat.
