girls clubs that are playing in the ecnl are garbage and i know for a fact they aren’t training 4x a week and some can’t even find a field 2x a week.
They’ve only been playing each other and considering that fc portland is around 5th or 6th when it comes to actually level in Oregon and thorns range from 3rd to 7th in Oregon says a lot about their “games” they keep playing against each other.
Not sure how this is news to any of you.

And how would you "know for a fact" what the teams' practice schedules are. You have a list of every team's schedule or are you a bunch of useless bull.

ECNL is like one of those Mexican "bistros" on NW 23rd or in Albina or some other gentrified-to-hell yuppie playground in Portlandia. Sure, the head chef is a gringo (the only actual Mexican in the place is washing the dishes) but he spent five years in Guadalajara studying with the culinary maestros. The cellar is full of fine vintages, all the ingredients are either locally sourced or flown in from Oaxaca or Michoacan or wherever, and it's got four and a half stars on yelp.
And there are about three dozen taco trucks in Beaverton that completely blow it out of the water.
Go crawl back under your rock.

Fields have been hard to come by for everyone, hopefully it gets better for everyone soon!

We only practiced 3 days a week during the summer because of COVID. We were only allowed so many hours of "contact time"
once fall came we went back to our normal 4 day a week practices.

Their 04s lost 6 players this last season, several to OYSA teams. This team was not good to start with.
Both of these age groups would be irrelevant in OYSA.
05s are decent and would be top 3 in OYSA no argument.
06s would be top 5, no possible way they'd beat WA Timbers 06 team.
07s would win easily in OYSA.
08s not relevant
Etc.
They are back to being a classy/richer verison of PCU. They have good numbers and a couple decent teams. Nothing to write home about.
Other clubs with similar results: Eastside, WaT, Westside.
Nothing at this makes FC an higher level of program. Their College commitments also don't even compare anymore.
Old news. Move on. NEXT!

Think about thi back then the 'best' soccer show in town was WCC Men's & Women's Soccer on the bluff.
Just like the times prior to having electricity or running water, candles and boiled water were considered quality and cutting edge.
Times do change, thankfully.

Now that's laughable.
Everyone is a particular club's team, that"s it..
What association sanctions a kiddo league: USYS or US Club does not change the DNA of any Oregon Club or team.
This kind of nonsense labelling Serves as a reminder that it's time to escape the world of alternate facts.
