Anyone who starts a post like this likely has a daughter on an ECNL team but does not play too much. Their insecurity forces them to post such self-supporting dribble to make them feel better about not having their daughter on a team where she would play quite a bit more. The reality of such players is that they are not likely to be in any better situation than a non-ECNL player who is playing regularly.
Anyone whose daughter is on an ECNL team and getting good interest would not need to come on to TS and post.

I know the OP was just a troll, but always good to throw truth out there.

They were mostly developed by the old USYS system along with ODP so claims like the one that started this thread are almost completely without merit. The truth is this year's graduating class is the first group of players that even has played in an environment remotely resembles the current state of affairs and so it will be another year or two before anyone can accurately assess the impact.

If someone wants to start a thread making such outrageous and untrue statements they should at least defend them, no?

To posters of 27 and 28 I answered in 26.
Now, should a 12 year old with aspirations for high level D3 drop out of club soccer altogether and just play town and high school?
And if you thought your kid was good enough for low D1 why would you give her no other option other than the lowest of D3?
