Highly doubt this will happen as good as it sounds. You have to have a strong track record to get accepted to the ECNL. Thorns might not have the body of work to meet the requirements. You never know until you try so worth pursuing.

Lol you dummy. Anyone can get into Ecnl. Look at the list of bad clubs involved.

It’s not even a question anymore

Since ECNL is the highest league, you have to win in DA to even get considered for promotion.

Another lie. Going repost this one...

Still think it’s hilarious that 80% of da teams are better than Ecnl teams from Oregon but a few Ecnl coaches on here lie flat out.

          Please share this lie around.

At least in Oregon the ECNL teams are better than the Thorns.

There are OYSA teams that are better than the thorns. Is that your bar?

Doesn’t take much for you lie flat out.

That’s why no one trusts coaches from Fcp or cu Ecnl programs.

They literally will say any lie to get people’s money. Nevermind Oregon teams are doormats any time they actually play a top 30 team from any league.

And don’t give us this best Ecnl bs when you know full and well when the best teams were actually in Ecnl CU and fc Portland were in dead last and could even score goals all season.

              That is public record.

Top teams from DA have/are moving to ECNL.

It’s called pay to play. ECNL is all about quantity, not quality.

75% of DA teams are still better than anything from Oregon. Not sure how you keep failing to know what is common knowledge.

Or do you seem to think a Club named eagles has anything to do with you...

Thorns is cheaper! About $4,000 per year for Thorns and $5800 for ECNL. That's $1800 per year savings.

Cheaper isn't always better but in this case, soccer is soccer.

Across the country the best clubs are either in ECNL or moving to ECNL.

In Oregon the best teams are in ECNL too. The thorns da teams are getting knocked silly, especially the younger teams. Losing 7-0 has to be demoralizing.

Well it’s a bit relative to who the competition is isn’t it. Thorns u14 would shred FCP and CU u 14. Just a question of whether you want your kid trying to push the limits playing stronger teams, even though there is an occasional 7-0 beating, or whether you just want to stick your kid in a league where they’ll win, knowing full well that, even though the competition may be ok, it’s not the best competition. No right or wrong to either choice.

Lol that’s hilarious. They wouldn’t even cover two age groups.

Best teams in Oregon are a mix of da OYSA and Ecnl.

Not one club has more then 1-2 age groups they are probably the best.

Some Ecnl teams wouldn’t even be top 3 in state.
