Totally fine with CU winning Surf white. Guarantees they'll be back in a higher bracket next year. Which is more than the Beaverton cup champs can say.

Why do the Portland North girls group get more training hours than everyone else? Happened last year too. And puts everyone else at a real disadvantage.

My daughter is in that group so here what is really happening - the training times listed are simply how long they have the field(s) reserved. The North group is BIG (40+ girls) so they divide it into two groups who only train for part of the time listed. Each groups training session overlaps with the other for 30 minutes. The total training time for each group is 1-1/2 hours once a week. No conspiracy. Just not clear on the website. They communicate the specific training details to the parents each week by email.

And as a training report - In general the training sessions have been good, they could be better. My impression is that there are moves to make it even better. Time will tell. To date the experience has been positive.
