The program is getting better and has a U18 National Team recruit coming as well. Sorry your dd didn't make the team but ease up & enjoy life.

Need to recruit the "right" players that fit the program not just national players.
You will have to offer a boat load to a national player and if she does not pan out or gets injured you have just wasted 1 equivalency point when you could have used .333 on three players that may not be as good but as a whole are better. This is why programs like Stanford and North Carolina are always on top! It's all about recruiting, coaching in that order.

One national player? Your kidding right? Look around the Pac 12. Those teams have multiple players who have been on various age group national teams from the US and from other countries. You are clueless. I'm not hater, just a factual person who says that Oregon will dump her when her contract is up and any kid going will have to live with that. She again showed very little improvement. The OOC schedule was tough and they did reasonably well in it, but that translated to getting hammered in the conference. Just look what happened at ASU this year after a few years of underachieving. Kat is no different. Anyone who wasn't offered at UO was lucky. Kat will be out the door soon, and on her heals will be Linus.

Not against her. I find it telling that you ignore the abysmal record. And Kudos for one player? I have no idea why a NT player would go to Oregon rather than to a better program with more NT and elite level players. Sounds like a big mistake to me. But some people like being a big fish in a small pond.

Easy to hate when you have never been through the recruiting process! Just because you are a national level player doesn't mean all the top schools are reaching out. Even if they are some kids want to stay close to home. If playing in the PAC 12 was her goal than that would leave two schools to choose from. Don't judge this is a individual choice.
