A more appropriate response would be that none of the kids that are considering playing in this crap event for these horrendous clubs have the skill or athleticism to play in D1 and are therefore unimpacted by the NCAA dark period.
Furthermore, on the academic end these are the offspring of parents who made the intelligent decision to play for AFC and Vale. Using this as a proxy, one can deduce that the genetics involved here aren't going to lend themselves to these players getting looks at good academic schools either.
Thanks for your snarky response and have a great day "Dip****"

Not op but have you considered that some clubs/teams/kids just want to play in a tournament regardless of which colleges will or won't be there? Stop being such an elitist @$$hole.

Thanks Dudley Do Right, great response.
Do you realize that this is being marketed as a collegiate showcase for high school aged kids? It’s also not cheap. Teams that enter college showcases do so with the intent of maybe getting some recruiting interest.
Take your kid up the road to travel jamboree, collect a trophy, have the kids paint their faces and most importantly spare us your stupid ass comments
