Yes it is. If people kept doing the right things we wouldn't be seeing such extreme increases. I get we're all burned out but now is not the time to give up. No the OP was just saying that you get comfortable dining or entertaining a small group of people. A game night with friends can spread covid despite wearing your mask in public.

No one should be put in prison, but everyone should own their actions and realize that 40% of people with this virus show no symptoms.

Original OP here and yes that's what I meant. Parents should also consider how often their kids are socializing and with who. Life doesn't have to be a complete lockdown if people just limited their socializing and were smart about it when they do. Combined with public safety measures we maybe can eek this out until a vaccine becomes available

You don't have to stop it altogether - just keep it limited to a core group of friends with parents you know and also are careful. Don't send your kid to the party house.

Second, there is no proof those suicides were because of Covid. Sadly teens kill themselves frequently and for many different reasons. Suicide rates among teens in CT was already rising before COvid. https://www.ctpost.com/local/article...e-14550448.php. We are fortunate in CT that we have lower suicide rates than many other states.

Thrid, as another said you don't have stop your kid from socializing, just be SMART about it.
