What a joke.
If everyone played everyone you’d find that ecnl wouldn’t last a year.
People would realize that THUSC or Crossfire United is about as good as they always have been. Good at 2 ages and pretty marginal after.
Fc portland is awful and literally wouldn’t beat the top 4-5 teams in the state.
Thorns are a joke and can’t even keep teams together. Is it a wonder they aren’t trying to friendly anyone. They know they aren’t good enough.
Not one club has more than 2 teams better than anyone in Oregon regardless of your affiliation. Not one.
Anyone heard about fc poetland or thorns commits last year? No because they were out committed by wash timbers, westside, and Eastside. Wasn’t even close.
03 gps has more Pac 12 commits than any ecnl team from Oregon.
You idiots really need take a strong look at exactly what happens to kids who end up moving to clubs for a patch and then you realize they aren’t matching the lies being spewed by the sellers.

And what is up with the current ODP pool selections? There are more second looks than actual selections. Can someone explain?

You fools should be committed.
Power 5 D1 Head Count sports like Basketball, Gymnastics & Volleyball give actual FULL RIDES to girls with title ix legislation. It's really too bad the Girls in this state have to walk on in secondary sports while the athletes pick up full rides in real sports.
Same as it ever was.

Fc portland and thorns aren’t competitive with the best teams from oysa.
Imagine paying 10k a year for ecnl and you end up not being able to make a solid d2 school because you were lied to. Never mind the walk ons to d1 that never play and end up paying 30k a year to sit the bench.
Take a look hard at the journey some of these kids have and you ll realize colleges look for players and don’t give a rats what league you play in.

Oysa team like gps 03 committed USC, Arizona x2, Navy and more, meanwhile fc portland 03 and thorns 03 ecnl are nowhere to be found.
Again, doesn’t matter where you play, it matters if you are good.

There are always good teams here and there. My advice is, don’t be fooled by acronyms and certainly not teams who claim they are better but don’t provide anything to back it up either results or commitment. And no, not the teams that have 3 division 1 walk ons that won’t play and then it’s inconsistent across the rest of the kids if they even end up playing.
Also should check the attrition rate of some of the programs. You might find a whole bunch of kids that were supposedly on a good team but never make it or can’t find their way into a d3 school because the coach and team didn’t give two craps about them and underdeveloped them.
It hasn’t changed. Not this year nor the previous years. Find a place your kid is important, developing, and competitive with top teams around the NW. There is no club that will get you anywhere that another club hasn’t already sent a player.

Game predictions?
Crossfire vs. Thorns this weekend, any thoughts?
I noticed CU and FCP didn’t play at the 07 age group...did the Rona hit the teams? Can’t think of another reason your whole clubs plays except one age group.
08 - Thorns
07 - Thorns (but will they play?)
06 - CU
05 - Thorns
04 - CU
02/03 - CU

Dont be fooled though that ECNL clubs are making borderline kids into superstars. The truth is it is easier to recruit good to great players to an ECNL club. If you get enough of them, you will probably have a good to great team. Local teams cant compete with this as they are the ones losing these players. In generalities, this is how it works.
The great players more than likely will end up playing soccer in college no matter who they play for. Most of the kids want to play together and will usually gravitate together. If you are a borderline player, take advantage and follow these players to whatever club they go to. Not only will you be able to practice and play with great players, more than likely you will draw more college eyes to watch you play. I can name a ton of girls that were noticed by a school that was actually looking at one of their teammates first.

No Oregon club team travel for nearly a year.
College outcomes remain unchanged, title ix soccer supply of girls is still lower than demand.
No travel = placement
Truth will set you free.
