No kidding, how about playing for pride, how about playing to win every game, how about that? True athletes get this concept, the OP and his spawn clearly do not. Playing/competing on the field is way better than not.

My kid can’t wait for club to start.
Tired up the crap games with no purpose.
If they don’t go back to normal for next fall, my player says they will skip it and hope club offers something. Even if only training.

When you can’t give 100% because you don’t have respectable competition, what is that?

Yeah well, don't expect club to be "normal" this winter/early spring. Probably no indoor soccer or at a minimum very restricted. Out of state events? Forget it, not until case numbers seem in better control, which won't happen for a while. The US is ramping up,it's getting colder and the holidays are approaching. We're months and a weidely distributed vaccine away from anything "normal"

She plays first 20 minutes. By then game is over and bench comes in. Bench have more minutes then starters.
One game it was 3-0 in first 5 minutes. 5-0 by 20 minutes and bench came in to see out the game. This is typical.
She has already quit. Playing at 80% for 20 minutes is quitting. Not even as good as a training session for club.

Our coach plays an insane formation with one of our weakest players as the only forward most of the game, playing weak players from his club team, blames his best players, and wonders why they keep losing games they should win. Cant wait for Club.

The best players will give 200% during those 20 mins regardless, 200% every single time there’s a chance to get touches on the ball. Even during the “not even as good as a training session club” practices, 200%.
