So is UB done? I read a news story that their soccer field is going to belong to Bassick H.S. for their new school that will be built at former UB campus. Have the coaches and players bailed? Their website hasn't been updated since 2019.

Duh of course it's done. Put a fork it in it. The school is done and Covid killed the last chance to play in the fall; spring won't happen when the lifesupport plug has already been pulled

The worst ever timing for MN. He wins a national championship then 2 years later the school closes. Now it’s a pandemic and very few of any jobs will open.

In the long run he'll be fine, but yes right now the market is frozen. Normally it would open up after the fall season was done as some coaches get fired or find higher level jobs after a strong performance

Just curious as to why they would not consider him...please provide your thoughts, as you seem very definitive in your assessment.

No D1 experience. Did all his recruiting overseas. More qualified people will go for the job.

Most of the players are foreign.... Best not to show recruits the school before you lock them up.

So what you’re saying is he’s basically exactly like Ray Reid when Uconn hired him for the job?

UCONN isn’t going to be open any time soon. New stadium. New league. New pandemic. Coach has at least a 3 year hall pass.
