You make it sound like a team or two have control over this and are advancing their position in a dishonest way. Wake up. It is the process and if there are teams that benefit then oh well. Regardless, the process is the same for all so deal with it rather than whine.

I honestly do not think GOTSOCCER knows about your team or really care about any of these teams getting into a showcase event, especially at U15. GS is a stats company and if for some reason your team has no stats due to rain, failing to sign up for SRPL(is that really true? Unreal if it is!), then it is surely not the fault of them. I would suggest instead of complaining on this website, make a phone call to any tournament/showcase director you are signing up for and plead your case. These tournament directors want to place teams where they belong to make for a good tournament. At the younger ages, this is very common as many teams do not have a full body of work that would show up for these directors.

You only play these tournaments at U14 and U15 to set the team up for their U16 and U17 years when college coaches will be paying attention. At U15 there may only be a handful of players in the entire age group that a college coach will be looking for at these tournaments.

Thank you PV for missing the deadline. This Storm JFC merger is stupid.

        Signed a bitter JFC parent

Not a team or two, but FYSA loves it! Those teams will capitalize on the extra points now, THEY (FYSA/USYS) can and will get away with doing it and it nearly guarantees those teams will continue to play FPL, FSPL, etc. THEIR leagues. The entire point behind it. Early points can only help a team.

FPL is not a FYSA/USYS league, it is a US Club league, so you kind of screwed up the point you were trying to make.
