Select is not as talented as Aztec. My logic is undeniable.

Bayside gets no love on this site. They have beaten Liverpool, SPOL, and NEFC NS, and SSS. Been competitive with Aztec and Surf. They belong in that last mix.

Who is this, the Stars white coach?

Maybe it’s because this is a MA forum? Seacoast GA (New Hampshire) gets no love either. Should the list expand to RI & NH? What about CT?

Bayside won 1 game in Impact NPL.

No, just an amused parent. Don’t think I’ve seen that kind of joystick coaching since u10. Most coaches by this age aren’t constantly instructing kids where to pass the ball. But if it works for your kid, great.

Most of the stars parents are used to their coach on the phone posting to facebook. If that works for your kid, great... oh no wait... for most of you it didn't..... and the fact that an average-at-best team in the Impact league (sorry bayside) hangs with the top MA ECNL club (sorry scorpions, not you) then maybe their coach is the last thing I'd want to "call out".

You’re talking about the Blue coach (who is now the ex-coach)... That’s not the team or coach being discussed here. I know it’s hard to follow along.

Actually they were 2-3 with a "win" over SPOL Friday that should count but hey no refs, no lights, whatever. Their first two games they played poorly and lost to a bad select team and a good Liverpool team, both of whom they then beat in Regional Cup. If MA teams are going to keep poaching players, they should at least respect some of the ones that have stayed. 2007 is a deep talent pool in MA and RI. Some good players out there.

Not to mention that they beat SPOL in the fall

Your point is what, Bayside should be in the mix with the rest of the second tier teams in MA like Select and Liverpool?

To someone with no skin in this game, it sounds more like the MA ECNL teams aren’t showing themselves to be a whole lot better than the so called second tier teams.

umm... third tier. Try to keep up.

Well just about every one of them lost their best players to ECNL for next year, including 7-8 from SSS & NEFC, so the gap is about to expand.

Got to love the ECNL crowd talking points:

1 - Before any games played. ECNL is the best league in the country. We are in the ECNL so we therefore must be the top 3 teams in MA.
2 - After not getting the "predicted results" against GA teams....... Bring up how much the GA league sucks and that they let in Empire United.
3 - Fast forward to memorial day weekend after all teams have been able to recover from the Covid layoff......ECNL clubs still not separating themselves from the pack....wait until next year, with all the player movement, the gap we have been talking about for the last two years will be backed up with actual results.

Sports are a funny thing. The teams with the most talent on paper do not always win.
