PDA and Sky Blue collaborated on the GDA.

Smart move by PDA. Allows them to pivot either way if this thing doesn't work. They have the most talent and the Northeast and they can't pull off both.
Sky blue collaborated with pda AND nysc. Oakwood played sky blue nysc yesterday. What were you saying about the Landscape?

You are all invited to Yankee’s Stadium on 4/11, @7pm, for the NYCFC vs Real Salt Lake City. Bring the whole family, especially your little soccer-prodigies. There will be a special, field-level, half-time ceremony to celebrate, and introduce the Inaugural NYCFC GDA players and coaches, see you there!

        Isn't Penn Fusion Academy?

NYSC did not announce their GDA badge until well after tryout time had passed. So they lost players in the age groups who were looking to play DA (NYCFC) or ECNL (World Class). Some kids trusted the club and stuck around and are playing DA now. They could be doing better and probably will next year as they have the badge, expanded boys program and facility putting turf down soon.

I don't think they got the badge until May. Most kids had made their decisions by then

Please, go spin that on BOTN. NYSC players are mid-level NPL players, the best players from NYSC have already left. However, we are always welcoming to new talent, so if you think you got game, let’s have at it, send the club an email, and let God sort it out....

Yeah, they left because NYSC got the badge too late - mid May. Time to do tryouts? Not really. I'm not even sure whey DA added them so late. Time will tell if they can get any players to return or new talent. Their new site makes it very attractive for lower FC kids.

As for mid-level NPL players that sums up OW in a nutshell. That's all OW got. Then there's the sh*tshow that is LISC.

                      - not the op

A new badge on the jersey and a new field aren’t the solutions to nysc’s problems. Slightly above average NPL players to start then add in all the FC westchester girls who weren’t able to make NYSC when they were seperate then top it off with underwhelming coaching. What do you get? A low level DA club that will continue to bleed players to nycfc, WC, Cfc, etc. They may actually finish behind lisc or empire in some age groups!!!
Oakwood is above average in their DA division and have added teams that won or placed in top brackets at Jeff cup last weekend. These once similar clubs are headed in completely opposite directions.

Pretty sure all teams being in the top half of the standings could be reasonably interpreted as above average...

FSA people do not get this concept, they are in it for development. You will not be castigated for being overly concerned with W's.
