Small steps leading to larger ones. Ah, the old slippery slope argument. Not a very effective strategy, I agree. Like when misguided conservatives try to use it to deny climate change:

Why didnt anyone say anything? Because people are too tolerant of deviance even obviously dangerous forms (drug use, sexual practices that inflict self-harm, other strange or unnatural behaviors such as mistreating animals and actual threats in this case).

Liberal, overly-tolerant school administrators DID NOTHING except expel him, making the situation worse. How do you expel a student without getting them help?

It took a private party youtube vlogger to notify the FBI that this guy was a potential school shooter.

FBI did nothing. Again - because we are too LIBERAL, Politically Correct and intentionally stupid for fear of being called something.

The problem is genetically defective psychopaths, of whom most are on your side. You know - the irrational, pathologically self absorbed, sometimes outright psychotic.

If he didnt have an AR15 he would have walked in with bombs, or a machete, and the death toll would have been the same. We need to regulate Libtards not guns. Guns protect us from Libtards as they creep from Socialism to Communism to Authoritarianism Dictatorship.
And this folks is why we'll never have effective gun laws - people like ^^^^ this instill fear and hatred and threaten to pull support for GOP legislators if they so much as talk about changing gun laws.

But there is a very strong correlation between political affiliation and gun ownership. In total only about 1/3 of American adults own a gun. Of those only 19% belong to the NRA, the lobbying group that makes sure gun laws are get worse each year in the US, especially at the state level. The NRA has every GOP running for any office afraid of loosing their endorsement. http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank...ng-households/

% of each group that says they have at least one firearm

              Republican 49%
              Dem 22%
              Independent 37%

              Conservative 41%
              Moderate 36%
              Liberal 23%

And you wonder why nobody takes you seriously?

This Marxist article from one of the most extreme corners of leftism on the web, irrationally and inexplicably claims victory on every issue of the day, gives no explanation for its position that the left is so victorious, does not mention important things like election results, collapsing marxist economies ongoing from the early 20th century to today, virtually every single "experiment" with Marxism an abject failure and producer of human misery (including over 100 million deaths), the link between liberalism and crime, extreme feminism and depression, drug use and psychosis/brain damage, homosexuality and higher morbidity + mortality, the list goes on and on and on.

Bill Nye is an actor, and a bad one at that. Bastardi has destroyed him numerous times in head to head debates.

On the global warming hoax, your side has failed to explain why we should accept conclusions from the same peer reviewed literature that has been wrong about so many things in the past (such as recently, global cooling in the 1970s). The fact is that the temperatures are shown to be rising recently, but the instrumentation and methods used today are quite different than in the recent past, and the data going back hundreds of thousands of years shows that we are still way cooler than historical norms. Carbon dioxide, in contrast, is vastly higher today than historically according to the ice core data and instrumentation used to measure it, and if this is true its a huge concern, but not because it produces higher temperatures (it doesnt - its a horrible greenhouse gas) but because it has the potential to alter the ecosystem through disruption of the natural carbon cycle. But even here, it is difficult to know for sure because historical ice core data on carbon dioxide is difficult to calibrate with modern day instrumentation. Scientists are never going to advertise their uncertainty in their papers - they dont win grants and notoriety this way. Yet, in science you are supposed to be skeptical, not a cheerleader for yourself or any side of a debate.

Until they prove their case, the vast majority of the public isnt buying it. Should we clean things up anyway? Absolutely. Nobody wants to live in a polluted toilet and as a true conservative, who wants to preserve the natural way of things, this includes our environment - lets figure out a way to grow our economies outside of fossil fuels. Right now the technology isnt there but things have been moving so rapidly in technology it shouldnt be long... so you, and I will eventually get what we want ... but JUST STOP LYING TO US.

I know this much. I've had about enough of these public shootings. No one is safe....anywhere in this country. I don't have an answer to the problem, I just know it is progressively getting worse. Is it the guns, the movies, the video games, the parents, the music, the media, the internet, the social problems, the weak punitive measures, or all of the above? I don't know. I do have a CCW because I'm afraid I'll need it one day. I'm open to any change at this point to not have to worry about my kids when they go to school, or the movies, or the mall.

                    Wrong (again, the 1,005th time);

                    Democrats are more depressed

                    Democrats have higher PTSD rates

Democrats have much higher attention deficit hyperactivity (ADHD)

Democrats have much higher anxiety levels

Democrats higher across the board for these mental conditions, some of which lead to much worse and terminal conditions such as suicide, qualifying these mental conditions as symptoms of underlying mental illness.

My 2 cents it is the digital age, the way people treat each other online, combined with the disintegration of the traditional nuclear family, unfortunate genetic variants that are not that uncommon in the population but potentially dangerous in certain combinations, and an increasingly liberal outlook of deviance toleration that all mixes together to explode ...

The only solution is to be honest about the problem, and develop tools to fight it. Taking away AR15s is not going to make a lick of difference.

You continue to cling to the losing side of this argument. If you want the lies to stop, you can start with yourself.

We keep asking you to provide peer-reviewed studies that supports your position that global warming isn't real. Throughout three separate debates on this subject YOU JUST CAN'T DO IT. Yet there are tens of thousands of peer-reviewed studies proving it exists.

Your proof is a SurveyMonkey poll?? LOL. From the article you quoted:

"Respondents were people who had completed other SurveyMonkey surveys; SurveyMonkey gave them the choice to complete our survey afterward"

A self-selected sample. A statistical concept you still fail to understand. Your 8th grade education has failed you again (for the 1,005th time).

Nice try with the "we". You are vastly outnumbered on TS as you well know.

I provided you with several. You brushed them under the rug, didnt even acknowledge them.

You failed to explain why we should trust the peer reviewed literature today when it was so wrong back in the 1970s. You claimed the technology is better today. I claimed that it could be better still in the 2050s, and show the opposite result (again).

You also claimed that a historical temperature chart that even your side agrees with was bogus - I provided you with the papers that formed the bases of that data.

Science is not a democracy where majority opinion wins. Nothing is settled, nothing is beyond question, and skepticism is the basis for the scientific method. Not actors like Bill Nye, not advocacy, not politics, not "consensus" voting - skepticism. I, and many others, want to see proof that the very recent and minor temperature increases compared to the historical record are NOT due to variations in solar activity, or in the Earth's orbit, or that they are even accurate reflections of the past given the fact that temperature is measured so differently today than in the past (and in light of all of the misconduct uncovered, from international bodies having to retract bogus charts, to East Anglia, to NASA fraud uncovered, to the fact that they keep manipulating data to support a narrative such as using urban data for modern-day measures (which are hotter than rural data of the past due to reflection off the concrete and asphalt).

You have no answer for these. You lose. Case Closed.

Not me - a liberal publication (BuzzFeed):
                                https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/buzzfeed/

                                Your own side admits it.

Your main defect is cognitive dissonance. Any conclusion you dont like, you trope out the most common tactic in the liberal playbook - going back over a century the most common - you shoot the messenger. Thats all you got. Even when its a liberal messenger.

In this case, liberal social scientists, many of whom are sick in the head themselves, are not going to study the problem and highlight their own party and individual defects. Conclusions from data by omission of data is unscientific. We have the data that exists, notwithstanding political resistance to collecting it from some corners, so we use that to form a hypothesis. The results from surveys by liberal publications point very squarely to the fact that you guys are sick in the head.
