So I doubt that qualifies the Northeast NPL as a glorified rec league. Sure, it has some bad teams (FC Buck, FC Contintental, FC Boston), but so does New England NPL (paging Yankee United and Liverpool!).

Does anyone really think New England NPL will get better now that Oakwood's A team is in DA? Or that some of the Stars West NPLs left? Sounds like a lot of average teams are remaining for SSS to beat up on week in, week out.
That sss team is good. I would imagine those two NT girls move up a couple age groups with Liz knowing that the league has gotten weaker. If that happens then yes sss will have decent competition. Should Liz continue to use those girls in 03 age group then the parents will most likely move those special players.

Nice that you watched a match that never took place.

Not the ECNL team, it was a composite team.

Stars doesn't want that. They are not sure of the outcome. All the talent is divided, could go in any direction.

Both teams had their BEST players including former NT players, current NT players, etc.

There are NT players in the 2003 age group?

Prep school kids were added after that date. So it was no the same team.

                          Nice try!

Not the original poster but the prep school former NT player was playing for ECNL at that scrimmage. DA still won 4-0. Nice try.

This thread needs to stop. Who cares? My daughter was on the ECNL team last year and chose ECNL because she wanted to play HS. Yes, the majority of ECNL players from her team last year played DA and it is the stronger team this year. But my daughter wanted to play HS and still have a good team so why does it matter?

I agree with this. For the girls who wanted to play for their HS then ECNL was the clear choice. For those that didn't care they could go to either league/team. In the end having both leagues gave the 03 girls some options. At other clubs you have to choose one or the other.
