This is not true for many reasons/ depends on the kid.

    1. the kid uprooted to Europe may not be good enough and certainly may not cut it compared to existing talent

    2. may be at an awful/ unqualified/ low level club in Europe for no good reason other than to post on TS they are in Europe.

    3. Better to offset top level training with great competition from Latin America or Europe

Nothing will change there until they sell the Revs or Kraft keels over.

Signed in Europe? Is he still playing NYCFC? If so, he ain't signed in Europe. And FIFA might not approve him for transfer. So hold your horses.

Yes his mother is Portuguese. Does she have a job in Portugal? Is he planning on going to another country? His dad better get a job.

They can't even get their players FIFA approval.

A course NYCFC offers better chance/development than the Revs. Adhere to MC style of play- more European development model. Gods know what the hell the Revs are doing to destroy good talents that they have. Revs has better pool to draw from but poor development model has stuns the players development.

There is a scale top to bottom of MLS academies.

Atlanta, Dallas, Phila U, LAG, NYRB etc. are tops.

NYCFC is making a strong push to be in the top 10 (from past number 20). These kids (all cohorts of Giovanni Reyna) are a sign at least that age group has benefited tremendously.

Believe it or not, Revs are somewhere in the lower middle overall.

We want the Revs to improve but until Kraft and the Patriot mindset overshadows the team, aint going to happen.

                        U17's lose again

This time it was a more respectable loss, though they are in the low division of the GA Cup.

Respectable? U17's are 0-7 in all GA Cup competition with 2 goals for and 31 against. they lost to a very low level Academy side in Columbus which was only their second win! Boy, you sure are hanging on to any small positives! They are still pathetic even after the Scales purges.

No credible offense even though Santos parks the bus. He did the same with Montreal. Tactics saves faces.

A great improvement in such a short time. Santos is working out well.
