Yet CFC teams to do better against the same competition (for the most part) in ECNL and NPL. Then there's placements - coaches look for talent, not teams. CFC 16's and 17s would have no issue beating OW, other teams might be a closer matchup. I've seen both clubs, clearly you have not as you admitted as much. It's too bad they don't play each other but both sides have a lot at risk in doing so. OW was willing to play FSA as they were pretty confident they'd win. Realistically there are scheduling issues as well. Is what it is and is indicative of a larger issue with youth soccer - too many leagues splitting the talent

BS BS BS... Im and FSA parent and we just played Yankee in a friendly last week also. It's so nice to play other Ct clubs. Its just 1 that doesn't and everyone knows that they talk a big game. We are just talking on the pitch, head to head. They throw the commitment list immediately to just dodge the question. Why are they the only Ct club that doesn't play each other in friendlies?

Why don't you call them and ask. Do you really think you'll get a believable reason on TS?

Of course it's nice to play an instate team that you're confident you will beat.

You apparently don't read full sentences. I said in friendlies. We all know they play each other in league. The point wasn't to play to see who's the weakest or strongest BUT to just play each other in friendlies to prepare for the seasons. CFC just seems like the only team that doesn't do it.

You apparently lack critical thinking skills. Why would CFC play a FSA friendly if they play in the league.

Whose to say that it's CFC fault for not playing friendlies against the other clubs (OW and YU). Perhaps the other clubs don't want it

To say? If ALL the others do it, then Im sure they've called.

Your comments indicates you have swallowed the OW-GDA koolaid, gallons of it. You might want to pump your stomach so you understand the local landscape better.

                    You contradict yourself.....

In one sentence, you indicate that CFC is superior because it "has 3 or 4" to Oakwood's one.

Then in the next sentence, you state top players make themselves and that the club is not that relevant to the outcome.

How can you then take credit and imply CFC is superior while stating the club is not a big factor in the development of the top players?

Are you trying to talk out both sides of your mouth here?

CFC takes their teams to ECNL showcases (Florida). FSA plays Oakwood and YU. Enough said.

You'll get to play another CT club on April 28th. Should be great. I would stand in the FSA defensive end. The ball will tend to be there for the majority of the match.

And perhaps CFC doesn't either. OW may be worth the time but certainly not YU. Players and coaches also want to avoid injuries going into prime season and showcases.
