Littered with D2 and NAIA players.

Local Western Mass Pioneers has 5-6 D2/3 players

    http://www.wmpioneers.com/roster.html

SC United Bantams has a good amount of D2 on their roster.

Roughriders even had a D2 goalie play in 5/6 games.

Rinky dink programs. Buddy Buddy programs just like the Bolts. Not legit PDL programs which are Path to Pro programs.

So what is the best option for a D1 kid that needs a Path to Pro program? Is NPSL any better? Anything else out there?

Best path to pro? quit school and move to Europe

Best life path: get a good education, enjoy playing in college, move on with life after graduation, coach, coach youth soccer (applies to 99.9999% of all college players

Rinky dink.... WM Pioneers were near the top of the table. SC United mid-table in a difficult conference.

          No problem.

OKC Energy u23 Energy and Portland Timber u23, both who finished FIRST in their division carry multiple D2/3 and NAIA players. Both professional outfits... is that "Path to Pro" enough for you.

          http://www.timbersu23.com/roster/

FC Golden State Force, not professional, but also finished FIRST in their division has 6 D2/3 or NAIA players.

By the way WM Pioneers used to have NZ, a D2 keeper play for them and was a consistent starter.

So I ask you again, STOP insinuating PDL is only for D1 players. There are good players across EVERY division.

            Same poster as above.

Just to put the icing on the cake:

The Charlotte Eagles, the defending PDL Champions have a D2 keeper that played over 500 minutes and have 8 D2/3/NAIA players on their roster AND I didn't even bother going through the whole roster because my point was already proven.

Yep - have enjoyed Pioneers’ games on several occasions, well played & competitive with the NYsides they were hosting. BYW a great field & club, really a good time, would be a great model for local teams to which to aspire. If you go, ask to see their Open Cup (1920’s Lusitania sides) upstairs in the big clubhouse across the street, they only have a few in the field-side bar.......
