Have heard some boarding preps considering not letting kids off campus once they arrive ( if they do have on campus housing this year). So much for club sports of any kind for the ISL.

You don’t have any friends do you. You post the same doom and gloom while sitting in your laz y boy recliner eating bon bons chuckling over the carnage that ensues over your Debbie downer posts. Go play in traffic or something would you.

Maybe with no school soccer clubs will be the only place kids can play. Even if it’s just drills and smaller groups. It will be better than nothing and fulfill many kids.

I think club sports will be one of the few things that do kick off this fall. The various soccer leagues have shown that with some foresight, a season can be played with limited risk.

They can use the down time to study their on-line homework a bit more thoroughly.

Clubs are open and training right now. Colleges are shutting down sports for the fall. HS sports may be shut down. Seems there is zero reasoning behind these decisions, so I fully expect in MA that there will be no fall HS sports, but club sports will go on.

High school seasons will be canceled over lack of funds. Clubs don’t have that issue.

The schools are very unlikely to give clubs access to their fields which is going to prevent most clubs from being able to play in the fall.

You mean schools that need money and clubs that pay hefty fees to rent their fields? Think about it.

Clubs will be fine. Schools will be grateful to have them rent field they need money.
Youth soccer will be fine too.
It’s the high schools and colleges that are the biggest concern and even with that high schools will likely have sports except football and baseball switch seasons.
                        Boarding schools are screwed though.

NH is game on. Friend’s daughter is already playing friendly’s.

It doesn't matter what clubs want to do or what towns need money from renting fields. Some of you folks still don't understand that these aren't the clubs decision to make or even up to the towns. You will be told what to do from the top (Charlie Baker) and you will comply. Simple as that.

And in Phase 3.2 soccer will be included, so clubs will ramp up.
