Significant money to play - not a full ride or even close. Not to say that a significant amount is great for the parents and player. But not full ride as they take the 10-12 player money and spread it over the 25 kids .

Not to mention that there is other money out there not called athletic that is "rolled" up in the package. But never full ride and certainly not a full ride for these D2 players. - curious what schools they are referring to too!

Competitive D2 - what's that? Where's that? Not being an ass - just wondering what level D2 you are referring to? NE10? Just curious.

65% of a $70K+/year bill is pretty good

The D2 schools I know being attended include Stonehill and St.Michaels not sure of others and there are actually 4 Stars NH players who stayed on the Stars NH team and did not move to MA who are playing D2 next year.

How long were they at Stars NH? Do not count a single year as 'playing' for the Stars.

OK, we can do this without using names...three easy questions

              1) What year did Stars NH begin
              2) How long where they at Star NH
              3) What DI/DII school did they go to

              Easy questions

How many teams do they have now? In 7 years that is a very lame list of colleges!

I don’t know. These 7 girls were all on the original team. You are obviously jealous and extremely rude. There are only 4-5 girls from all of NH that go D1 each year and the same for D2 so saying that a D1 school is “lame” is pathetic.

                    Where is your daughter playing?

Another original Stars NH player is going to play D1 soccer at Seton Hall University. Played 3 years before leaving to play in the ECNL

Best posts yet. Anyone that knows this much about Stars NH is is either a stalker or TK- club director. Original post stated with TK promoting his program and now defending it with each post. Everyone knows stars is low level NH soccer and way over priced. Maybe the question TK should be answering instead of Dreaming up all his high level players is whether it’s about the money or his players. TK- please let this group know how much you charge per session and how bad you screwed every family. Oh.... and I’m one of the families for the past two years.

Regardless of who is posting this information, the facts are that 8 players from the first Stars NH team that played for at least 2-3 years on the team are playing in college at the D1 or D2 level. That tells me that there is a lot of potential in NH and that Stars provided a pathway for those players to move on.
FC Stars has many locations all throughout MA and the fees for teams are set. NH doesn't have different fees. So singling out one director is not fair nor is it accurate, if you have a problem with the money then you should take it up with the club.
And as far as Stars NH having "low level soccer" that has to do with the players (your son/daughter) and not the club. Again the club provides a pathway for better players to move up. If your son/daughter can't make a higher team how is it fair to come on here and complain about the team or the coach or the club?

Wait, what?? I thought it was the coaches job to make the players better and the clubs job to hire good coaches...I guess the kids are the easy out for the director though who has always recruited his way to wins rather than develop players.

For those players who moved onto MA, because they are giving Stars N.H. credit for them going to college, albeit through the MA program, are you going to give credit to the clubs/towns who actually developed them prior to going to Stars N.H.? Are is this just a Stars N.H. agenda?

So a coach can make every kid good enough to play DI in college?
