Kicking ball should not be a entry ticket to one of the prestigious Ivy League schools. There is plenty other schools where athletes with average grades can go. More decisions about this will be taken in the next year, favoring the school entry of academically strong athletes

[QUOTE=Unregistered;2785130]You know nothing about Ivy students. Sure college isn't for everyone, but statistically you will earn more in a lifetime with a degree than without. There's lots of stories like your friend. The trades can be lucrative and certainly keep you consistently employed if you're any good. But there's 100X more success stories of college grads, especially those from top schools. Those kids don't want to
Great to get a good education ..but alot of these degrees are worthless these kids are getting ..not talking engineering or medical degrees..my son wants to do software design which is a engineering degree and that makes sense..The object of the game is get a scholarship because of your grades rather then because you can throw a ball far. All n all there is way more success story with small business owners .
