It does in a way, more emphasis will be place in the athletes that are academically relevant. Kicking ball should not be a entry ticket to one of the prestigious Ivy League schools. There is plenty other schools where athletes with average grades can go. More decisions about this will be taken in the next year, favoring the school entry of academically strong athletes

Please inform yourself better, there is not Athletic scholarships in Ivy League schools, those are reserved for the kids that have the best grades

There are more than enough smart soccer players for the Iveys to choose.

Because "auto detailing" is much more rewarding than an Ivy League education.

you are not wrong but if Princeton is counting Bezos in its, let's say, class of 2000 and he is currently the richest dude in the WORLD, that odd for the ivies is way more rewarding than several c student millionaires or a couple of good athletes in NCAA. And Bezos did work his way up, he is self-made just like other greats.

There might only be 1 or 2 soccer players that have the ability to get in through normal admissions, ivy coaches can assist 7 players per year with being admitted and believe me, a majority of the teams needed coaches assistance. Average ivy SAT is 1350-1410, that would never cut it through the admission process. It’s a fact, playing soccer creates inferior students.

Several of the Ivies have already announced some students will be online, some on campus, hybrid schedules etc. Brown switched to trimesters and students will be on campus 2 of the 3 terms.

You know nothing about Ivy students. Sure college isn't for everyone, but statistically you will earn more in a lifetime with a degree than without. There's lots of stories like your friend. The trades can be lucrative and certainly keep you consistently employed if you're any good. But there's 100X more success stories of college grads, especially those from top schools. Those kids don't want to be plumbers.

International players will get priority scheduling for on campus or hybrid to keep visas. Colleges will find a way to keep their international student income.

Avg SAT for an Ivy is closer to 1500.

Several schools have filed a lawsuit to stop it altogether.

Great to get a good education ..but alot of these degrees are worthless these kids are getting ..not talking engineering or medical degrees..my son wants to do software design which is a engineering degree and that makes sense..The object of the game is get a scholarship because of your grades rather then because you can throw a ball far. All n all there is way more success story with small business owners .
