i dont' watch them all either but they are a big part of college entry and athletic students opportunities. no sports , no need for athletic students, it s a domino effect

Maybe the schools will start selecting students that actually have the brains to attend, we all know that the majority of the athletes would never get in on merit. The biggest mistake ivy schools did was go D1, this caused a big step back in there academics.

That is what fathers of dumb ass kids say. Intelligent players use academic merit and get more scholarships, and they can play if the want, bot because they need to do it

as mentioned in the news, they were "forced" to cancel sports, not something they wanted. don't know if it will have anything to do with merit or D1.

Not sure what you mean by "more scholarships" but Ivy League schools do not offer any athletic scholarship money. Just FYI.

I absolutely agree with your statement. Academics should be number 1 and sports 2nd. Shouldn't get a ride because your good at a sport..if you have to use your toes to add ,why be at a ivy league college
