MV has deep pockets and a solid revenue base to fund DA. It cost $60K per year to attend MV. DA players are college level players from the United States of America and that’s funded with residential money paid by parents. This is no different then IMG or other residential programs around the USA. Parents are willing to pay for education with hopes of college money in return. If you attend MV and Pay $60 per year and get a full college soccer scholarship then it’s basically a break even. The Foreign based players at MV can not play in the US DA but instead they are pro prospects to be sold off down the road for profits. MV has set this business model up for success.

100% correct. Why should a businessman spend $1.5 million per year on DA and another $1.5 million to fund a USL 1 pro team with No return on Investment. The Only Home grown player Identified has just been traded and he played in the U20 World Cup and is only 20 years of age. Flavio is basically saying that local players are NOT good enough and why should I spend money on DA and USL 1 league is a second or third tier league if a player is good enough he would already be playing with MLS team so why spend millions when you don’t get a return on your investment.

He has had issues with the law and then OC brought in Dwyer so yes he want's out. But does not have anything to do with the MV situation.
