You got that wrong pal. Nobody has any respect for Largo. The Sousa family should be ashamed for the way they have wrecked that organization. Largo had to beg to be saved by VSI. And if, as you claim, that the Sousa family will still be in charge, then you will have nobody left at the clubs. Players leaving left and right. The only thing the Sousa's have accomplished over the years, is the hatred of lied to parent, poorly coached children, and Al's heart attack from yelling at 8 year old players. You have no idea what you are talking about. Go ask the head of your family who met with all the small clubs in the area, Pinellas Park, Shooting Stars, SYAA... Largo was desperate for these tiny clubs to help out. Largo got turned down by all three. That is a fact it happened, that is why he turned to VSI to take over. But even that isn't a done deal yet. My kids play for Clearwater, but I like the Largo fields, we have played in some tournaments there and they are always in pristine condition. Does Celtic even have a complex to train at?Comment

The merger will happen and all the slanderous words will not stop it. Such anger from people. It's truly sad that these type of individuals are actually involved in their childrens' sports. Really need to check as to why you have so much anger that you have to vent on a soccer thread. May need to check to see if your meds are really working.Comment

What is sad, is the fact that parents will have their fees increase dramatically because of this merger. Largo United rec and competitive (the two teams) will see their rates soar just to support his merger. What will they get in return? If the Sousa family is still running the club, then they will get the same bad coaching, screaming and general obnoxious Sousa behavior, but it will cost them more dollars. Celtic FC, is the main bashers in this thread, they have been wanting someone to merge with for some time now, but they offer no club any $$$ due to a weak rec program.
