Largo Unied wil lcontinue to provide a family friendly club, with the most outstanding training facility in the county, as well as some of the best training in Pinellas. This merger allows Largo United to continue to grow, as well as providing an excellent partner that will provide an additional outlet of training for our talented teams. This further strengthens the strength of the club and allows us to continue to be the best facility for soccer in Central and Southern Pinellas County.
Yes it is true there is alliance with West Florida premier but the only difference is the name VSI Largo . It is still run by the Sousa's. Remember that made the same great merger last year with Osceola. VSI will promise the parents a chance for their kids to play professional and that VSI providing their coaches will make difference. What really going happen is that your fees are going up . Just look at VSI Pinellas Flames they changed their name too and all that did was a name change. Look at VSI program what have done but charge more money for more broken promises. No Big Deal good luck.

If you are really apart of WFF, yes. If it is just affiliated to VSI like Pinellas Flames, then maybe a little. On the WFF side of it, all depends on what your kid plays. There is Higher fees playing in FPL and ECNL. Not as high, but higher than other clubs if your team is in CDL (which most of WFP do not do, stayed in USA). If your team stays in USA, it is not to steep except for the uniform package.

Its a done deal, Largo has no choice they need this. The sons do not want to take over from the old man, and they are in danger of losing the few competitve teams they have. This was the best choice they had

The statement above is completely false! We had numerous clubs that wanted to merge with Largo, as most clubs recognized the Largo United is "the crown jewel" of soccer in Central Pinellas. We considered numerous proposals, as well as staying Independent and felt that WFF offered the club the best chance to grow our brand. The Sousa family will continue to provide day to day operations for the club, as well as assisting in the training of our competitive teams. Largo United teams are known throughout Central Florida for their distinct style of play that has produced high caliber teams and with this merger it will allow us to enrich the development even further. There are no plans currently to raise any fees for soccer for the next season.

                        The key word is "currently".

People, lets stop this! Largo United will not be raising any fees for the upcoming rec and competitive teams, period. The merger will not change the fine coaching that each child receives at LU, this training is unique to the club and will remain our hallmark. The merger wil lgive us addiitonal resources such as shared coaching, more access to competitive teams, access to leagues, etc., Largo will continueto be the premiere soccer club of central Pinelas County.

RB and WFF will be running operations at Largo. Next step along the path is playing alliance with Chargers. Vision is to have both the boys and girls premier league offerings under one Super Club.

No chance, WFF would never bow down to the Chargers, many families have come to WFF because of the poor coaching and inept management of the Chargers facility. WFF would merge with TBU first before they would ever consider the Chargers. The Chargers girl programs are light years behind WFF.

Please.... Stop, you know what you are and everyone else knows what Largo is. All clubs have people from outside clubs respect sone aspect of another club. Largo is not and has never been respected..ask around
