What is going on in the 2004 age group at stars? Wasn’t this team a national finalist team? Has JD just washed his hands of it?

Also in this one age group the White team ("B team") may not end up being very "B" at all. Some big regular season wins over PDA Blue (ECNL national finalists) and SUSA in their first season last year, plus good playoff run at NA Cup...and got stronger.
I wouldn't be surprised if they both finish at or near the top of the NE standings.

The girls are probably equal in talent at the top of the team. The coaching on Blue is what currently makes them the A team. White’s coach makes them the B team until he has developed more as a coach. Swap the coaches and you would see a different “A” team.

It’s a rare team at stars that has the same coach for more than a couple years. Coaches tend to coach certain ages rather then stay with a team through its career. So the fact that Jason no longer coaches the 04’s means not a single thing.

The talent between white and blue is not comparable. The blue team has the top talent at that age group in the state.
