Agreed. I think many of us feel that way. Club soccer is one of those extra things. She has to work hard. Nothing will he given to her, but if she earns it, She has an advantage. Prior poster was right in that truly working class don't give two-sheets about Soccer - because there is no money in it

15 of the top 20 paid athletes in the world are all soccer players. There is plenty of money in it, outside of the US.

The best of the best can and do play for MLS clubs for free. Yes, transportation can be a problem... such is life.

The world owes you nothing. You're not a special snowflake. Can't afford club soccer? Too bad. Can't afford a Porsche or private schools or an inground pool? Welcome to the club. Again, the world owes you nothing and the sooner you get over that, the better you will be. As to soccer, it is primarily a way for top athletes in this country to help pay for college. D1 College isn't guaranteed to everyone so not everyone needs club soccer. Stop with the whining already. Go learn a trade and play pick up games or in an adult league like the rest of us once we graduate and stop trying to guilt those of us who have above average intelligence, a good income, and are willing to spend it on our kids. Honestly, your opinion doesn't matter to me anyway and I just ignore you and the rest of the socialist Bernie and dumb-ass AO-C supporters.
You do being a jerk really, really well. It's people like you and your friends Hannity, Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, et al who are the truly entitled folks.....you know, the folks always telling us they are the aggrieved ones even though they start every challenge in life on 3rd base. You somehow manage to turn inequalities into a horrific insult to you. Tucker Carlson, lol. A Trinity College grad, and a perfect stereotypic dumb as a doorknob, privileged fraternity hound.

            oh good lord.

The message you fail to get is that nobody is owed anything; nobody deserves anything; most people just want to do their thing, what works for their family best with the resources they've made available to them.

Some, sadly, like to make it someone else's fault.

Never said anything was anybody else's fault. You just don't get how easy it is when your entitlement is so knee deep you can't even see it to accuse others of feeling entitled. Wonder how you'd feel if you were in a village in Africa or Asia being pillaged on a daily basis. So, so hypocritical. Btw, still waiting for your type to demand answers and punishment for the Saudi Prince. Nice cover-up job by Kushner who we know didn't earn his way to Harvard. Wonder what would have happened if Hannity had been bone-sawed.

The privileged don't have time to hear about, much less do anything about, those who are less privileged through no fault of their own.

But, I don't live in Asia or Africa. I don't live in Arkansas, Los Angeles, Northern Maine, Chicago, Canada, or Brazil either.

At some point...you just have to play the hand your are dealt. I am not a Saudi Prince, nor is my name Kushner, I don't watch Hannity, so no idea why you shifted it that way.

I'm just a guy who came from simple means, who's parents came from even less, who goes about his day providing for his his family and stays out of trouble.

But, even still, that's not good enough for some people...

Pretty much. Not totally true. I give my time and money to causes I believe in. All voluntary. I refuse to be guilted into anything, try as you might.

You can toss and turn all night about someone else's problems. I'm comfortable with my existence here and my positive impact on society.

And how knee-deep is your entitlement? Judging others when you haven't walked in their shoes does no-one any good. You have no idea what that person has been through to get to where they are today.

Stop being a hater and take responsibility for your self and your own actions and don't blame others for not having what they have.

That's plenty good enough. So why go off on some rant about the left and make a bunch of ludicrous statements. As you say, you weren't born in any of those places you listed. If you had perhaps the way you looked at the world would be a little different.

Contrary to your intent you just made my point.

There are millions of people in the world who had it better than I did, and millions more who didn't. Same with my kids...

Not the OP, but if your intent was to say that nobody knows what everyone else has and has gone through, so the attempts at guilt-trips should be eliminated, I'd agree
