I picked vegtables smarter than you

It never cease to amaze me the ability of the Fueher's followers to show by simply breathing how baseline ignorant they are. A purely political post and you can't even comprehend that political posts go in the Talking MA Politics section.

Keep working hard in 5th grade and maybe you can graduate to Jr High School someday and be the 1st in your family to do so!!

Someone on Quora asked "Why do some British people not
      like Donald Trump?"

Nate White, an articulate and witty writer from England wrote this magnificent response:

A few things spring to mind.

Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem.

For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace - all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed.
So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief.

Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing - not once, ever.

I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. And that fact is particularly disturbing to the British sensibility - for us, to lack humour is almost inhuman.

But with Trump, it’s a fact. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is - his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty.
Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers.

And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults - he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness.
There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface.

Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront.
Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul.
And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist.

Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that.

      He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat.
He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege.

And worse, he is that most unforgivable of all things to the British: a bully. That is, except when he is among bullies; then he suddenly transforms into a snivelling sidekick instead.

There are unspoken rules to this stuff - the Queensberry rules of basic decency - and he breaks them all. He punches downwards - which a gentleman should, would, could never do - and every blow he aims is below the belt. He particularly likes to kick the vulnerable or voiceless - and he kicks them when they are down.

So the fact that a significant minority - perhaps a third - of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think 'Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that:

      - Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are.

      - You don't need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man.

This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people, and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss. After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of ****. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum.

God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid.

He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart.

In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws - he would make a Trump.

And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish:
      'My God… what… have… I… created?

If being a twat was a TV show, Trump would be the boxed set.

            Question for AOC.
Fresh produce, fresh dairy, fresh foods etc. are moved around the country on refrigerated trucks. Big semis , and smaller Sprinter delivery vans, and everything in between.
These vehicles mostly have Thermo King Refrigeration units. Gas or diesel engines.
What will replace them with the Green New Deal ? We can't go back to Dry Ice, as that will increase the amount of CO2 released. Corey, Kamala, how about you ? Help us out here. You do realize that these products need to be kept below 38 degrees. And then is the frozen foods question. Help us.

No one ever said it didn't matter. Any life lost is a tragedy. But sometimes things happen that are simply out of anyone's control no matter how prepared we are or who is in charge. Four years of intense investigation found no wrong doing except on the part of the GOP that had CUT funding for embassy security. Is Congress supposed to investigate it in perpetuity? Certainly if new information comes to light then investigate away. Meanwhile their time and resources are better spent on more pressing matters.

The Dems are idiots. They all jumped on her plan without actually reading it. They need to slow it down. Running for the WH is a marathon, not a series of sprints to the next idea or scandal admonishment.

                  That was Hillary's quote.
We have spent millions of dollars, tied up Congress and the Courts for over two years , going back to the first FISA Warrant, for a " suspect" that was never charged. It has taken away time from solving real problems that Americans face every day. No collusion is what NBC reported. Bu the Dems are so hell bent on getting rid of Trump, The House will now " investigate ". More money, more time. The House Committees are not Law Enforcement. They are limited to what they can do. If the FBI , and what Mueller will surely not find any collusion , as none exists , and the Senate all agree, what is the sense of a House Investigation ?

Why aren't House Democrats as interested in the problems that every day Americans are facing? We know the answer. They don;t care about them. They have an agenda. They lust for power. They need to prove something, anything, to bring Trump down. They continue to flap their wings and never leave the ground, with the MSM cheering their every attempt.

A complete waste of time. A Witch Hunt. A Sham.

Did any Trump campaign aides have contacts with Russia?

In July 2016, while he was chairman of the Trump campaign, Paul Manafort flatly denied any ties existed between the campaign and Russia, calling the idea “absurd” in an ABC News interview. Two days after Trump’s victory, Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks said, “There was no communication between the campaign and any foreign entity during the campaign.”
Asked in January 2017 if there had been contacts with Russians, Trump replied, “No, not at all.” These blanket denials were later repeated by Vice President Mike Pence, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway and White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.

two years later we now know there were many

These adamant denials have been eviscerated in the two-plus years since the election. At least 16 Trump associates had contacts with Russians during the campaign or before the inauguration, according to public statements, court filings, and news reports.
Senior campaign aides and members of Trump’s family were in contact with Russians through in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, Twitter messages and more. Trump now acknowledges that there were contacts but says there was no collusion.

It wasn't a waste in that questions needed to be answered. But the GOP wanted her head on a platter so in that sense it was a witch hunt. They couldn't get it because there was nothing there. How many indictments has Mueller racked up so far? For a supposed witch hunt Mueller has caught a lot of witches. Doesn't the possibility of a foreign nation interfering in our national elections, possibly using citizens and politicians as moles, something that warrants a thorough investigation? Me, I want to know. This is much more complex than Benghazi with many more people involved (and more found all the time). If Benghazi took four years, this deserves at least close to equal time if it's warranted. Seems like Mueller will wrap up much faster than that. Then it's up to Congress on where to take it from there.

Stop it. Countries have been involved in other countries elections over an over again, The United States leads the pack.
With all the millions and millions of ads, news flashes, updates, content , data , propaganda by the media, etc. any involvement by Russians is trivial. And that involvement did absolutely nothing to change the votes of Americans. There is absolutely NO EVIDENCE that any votes were changed, compromised, not counted, or otherwise not true to what the voters intended when they cast their vote.
No Evidence that the results of the election were tampered with by Russians, r anyone else.

This was a mission to investigate and TRY AND FIND A CRIME. And the initial foundation for the investigation, and the special counsel has not been met. Trump committed no crimes. Despite the Clinton campaign hiring a " spy " to put together a phony dossier, lying to the FISA Court , ruining people's lives , there IS NOTHING THERE regarding the President.

Hillary lost. She was a terrible candidate with boatloads of baggage. All of this,The FBI Mueller, The Congress, and now the House have FAILED the American people. They sold Americans, day after day, drips and drabs,, leaks and talking heads. Democrats posturing, pontificating , " if this is true " , " sources have said " , " indications of evidence" , a " conscience of guilt " Blah , blah blah.
And the MSM media should hang their heads in shame.
Nothing on the President. Put on your big boy pants and face the truth.
Americans have been Bambozzled. Hoodwinked. Walked down a path of accusations, innuendo , speculation and falsehoods. One big Con Job on the American people.
                              Because she lost.

Of course they do. And an American Ambassador dragged into the street and murdered didn't mean a thing to them. Dead Americans, on Hillary's watch. And she skates.
